The Cinema at Ealing was a renowned Art Deco Masterpiece dating back the thirties. Having fallen into a state of decrepitude Goldsmith’s were engaged to carry out a total refurbishment of the façade, at the same time dis-connecting the retained façade from the temporary kentledge support and connecting it back to the new concrete frame apartment block.
The contract took a year to complete and now stands as a Portico entrance to the St. George development. The transformation completed, it became one of the key landmarks in Ealing and won the Prestigious ‘Best Façade Restoration’ of the year.
