Founded in 1884, The Artworkers Guild is a Charitable Foundation whose aim is to support the Visual Arts and Crafts in any way, which may be beneficial to the Community.
Housed in a Handsome Georgian Grade II listed building at 6 Queens Square in the Heart of Bloomsbury, London. Goldsmith Group were engaged to upgrade the existing, Original, toilet facilities, including the restoration of the original Thomas Crapper Cisterns and the Original toilet pans.
In addition, a sympathetic installation of a disabled toilet facility with access ramps all in compliance with the DDA act of 1995 and the Equality Act 2010.
Traditional Building Methods conjoined with Traditional Materials were used to
deliver a Stunning ‘Fit for Purpose’ facility for all Art Workers Guild Members and Guests. A Glass and Lead covered walkway has been constructed to provide covered access to the new facilities.
